In our Research and Development area, we look for new processes and methods targeted towards the improvement of our products; always with the care to preserve the nutritional and sensorial quality of the raw-materials, offering the best choice to consumers.
In partnership with different entities - among them we can highlight Universities- Frulact has been developing research studies in different areas, such as: methodologies to optimise the quality of fruits designed for industrial use, heat exchange technologies, pesticide detection methodologies, development of natural colourings designed for food industry, among others.
As far as Development, Frulact is acknowledged for some of its projects, as for instance fruit preparations enriched with calcium, plant extracts and omega3; vegetable preparations for dairy industry; as well as extraction and identification of anti-oxidant components, with commercial value - contained in strawberry peduncles.
